Objectives -: The principal aim of the Trust is to promote better understanding and appreciation for the advancement of the Sanatan Dharam philosophy and Hindu language and culture without distinction of race, cast, creed and colour, in New Zealand. It is also to provide a centre for advancement for our children and the future generations of Sanatan Dharam Philosophy.
Formation-: Sanatan Shivarchan Trust was formed in August 1997. The formation of a trust was the vision of Aawahan Peethadhishwar Acharya Mahamandleshwar Shri 108 Swami Shivendra Puriji Maharaj.
In 1998 a vacant lot was purchased and the Hall was constructed first. The Hall was completed and opened on 21 August 2002. And with the support of our people, the Temple was completed and opened on 29 May 2004.
Trustee -: The Trust is made up of: Trustees, Executive Committee, life members and ordinary members. This Trust is headed by Swamy Shivendra Piriji Maharaj

Executive Committee -: 11 members make up the executive committee. The appointment of members is done every two years by the Trustees.
Membership -: The membership to the trust is open to anyone. There are two types of membership
a)Life membership- this is awarded to members and their spouse who has paid a subscription of a total of $2500.00. Installments can be arranged.
b)Ordinary membership- this is awarded to members paying $250.00 per year.
Community Hall -: The Trust has a community Hall, which is hired out for religious and cultural purposes. This community hall is 35 meters long and 16 meters wide. It hall has a kitchen, a large stage, dining, storage and office facility.
Yagna -: An area is allocated for the Yagna. Considering the number of Yagna taking place now, a Yagna place has become necessary. This will be available for our Hindus in greater Auckland area.
Activities -: The Trust celebrates all major religious functions. The major religious functions are: Maha Shiv Raatri, Ram Naumi, Krishna Janamastami and Navraatri. During these functions, 5 to 9 days programs are organized. In addition we also celebrate other religious functions such as Ganesh Chaturthi, Hanuman Jayanti and so on.
The Trust also runs Hindi Class on every Sundays from 10am for few hours. Besides teaching Hindi, other cultural programs are organized such as drama and dancing.
Ramayan -: Every Tuesday from 7pm
Senior Citizens -: A group is organised and meet from time to time
Hindi School –: Conducted every Sunday from 10am to 1pm.
